Margaret Bradly

I have been making lace since 1993. Having been interested in needlecrafts from an early age I met Mary Hocking and began lacemaking. I have made various types of lace including Torchon, Bucks, Beds, Honiton & Flanders. My favourite lace is Flanders.

Oval Mat by Margaret Bradly

Oval Mat

When I resigned as treasurer from Yateley Machine Knitting Club and left the club, I was given 2 inscribed bobbins, the pattern, threads and linen to make the oval mat pictured above. The pattern was adapted from an old Belgian pattern by M. Bastogne.

Honiton "Treble Clef"
